I believe that active kids are happy kids. I was always very active as a child and was fortunate enough to do many sporty extra-curricular activities. My main sport was competitive gymnastics, and I started coaching at 13 years old when I was even still training. I’ve taught all ages and levels from 18 months to adults, recreational to competitive, and I have a passion for teaching people new ways to move their bodies.

I grew up in Toronto, Canada, I speak English and French, and I have a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics. My approach to coaching was always very verbal. I tried to tailor the way I described movements to the way each child learned best. I plan to do the same thing with teaching English. Every child is different and learns at a different pace. I believe learning a language is exercising the brain, it’s an activity for the mind. I’m looking forward to using my sport-teaching skills and my linguistic background to effectively pour as much of the English language into these kids’ minds and bodies.
