Stephen Burton

I am an English foreign language teacher living in Budapest with my partner. I have spent time teaching English as a foreign language to children in the Basque Country and I am excited to be back doing what I love. I believe that children learn English most effectively when communication is the focus in an immersive learning environment, rather than through constant error correction.

I believe that the best learning environment is one where children feel involved and are encouraged to communicate without fear of error. I am a qualified EFL teacher, and also hold a Masters Degree in International Relations. In my spare time I enjoy football, golf and reading. I am so excited to be a part of the team at BGC and I can’t wait to get started!
