Aubrey Rae

My name is Aubrey and I am from the state of Nebraska in the United States. My experiences in the workforce carry a variety but all share the theme of caring for others. I spent my college years majoring in in Communication Disorders where I gained both clinical and classroom field experience leading me to a my Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Nebraska.

I spent my free time working for a company who housed adults with disabilities in groups homes with the goal of helping them gain independence. My second job was taking care of an elderly woman as she took on the finals years of her life, a job which lasted me years past my college experience. I also worked as a classroom aid in a kindergarten during my college years and I missed the days of being around children.

All of these job opportunities have fulfilled my heart as I love to help others find growth and personal independence in some way. This, along with my study abroad experience in the Czech Republic, has made moving back to Central Europe to help children learn English the perfect opportunity.

Before moving here, i received a TEFL certificate to further my knowledge in education, but to also hone in on teacher students who are learning English as a second language specifically. I wish to continue this theme and aid in the children’s language learning as it will open new doors for them in their future.

In my free time i enjoying exploring new cities, cuddling my cat, crochet, fashion, movies, books, and live music.
