    Information Guide for New Families

Starting in the 2025/2026 academic year, our Hungarian-English bilingual program will be offered at Budapest 13th, Csata Primary School. This program follows an immersive learning system. In the mornings, children in our bilingual program participate in traditional academic classes, while afternoons are dedicated to an English-language environment led by native speakers. Here, children engage in various interactive and engaging activities, allowing them to strengthen their language skills naturally and enjoyably.

The BGC English School Program is an innovative bilingual educational model that stands out among other schools. Our unique methodology combines traditional morning lessons with a full-day program that includes diverse, activity-based modules in the afternoon.

Our English-language activities are age-appropriate, interactive, and designed to be fun. Students learn in a stress-free environment, receiving positive feedback to help them achieve their language goals. By the end of the 4+4-year program, students reach B1/B2-level English proficiency.

    Getting to Know Each Other

Each year, many families apply to join our program. We’re delighted to offer two Hungarian-English bilingual classes each year for first-grade students at Csata Primary School in the 13th District. To ensure a successful partnership, we encourage both parents and children to get to know our program before enrollment.

You can find information on our website, Facebook, and Instagram pages, as well as in parent information booklets. Before applying, please familiarize yourself with the BGC English School Program’s methodology, application process, and fees. Additionally, visit our partner school’s website at www.csataiskola13.hu to learn about their educational programs.

    The Application Process

We welcome applications from children who are of school age, enjoy group activities, are open to new experiences, and are motivated to learn with their peers. Although our language-teaching methodology is innovative and child-centered, it may be challenging for children who need a smaller, specialized educational setting. Please consider this when applying.

English language skills are not required to apply.

To apply for the Hungarian-English bilingual classes at Csata Primary School, please follow these steps:

    • Complete the preliminary registration form.
    • Attend the “Smart-Party” session (details below).
    • Submit an introductory letter in which parents introduce the child and explain their choice of the bilingual class. Feel free to share information about your family, though this is optional.
    • Optional: Include a kindergarten report. If your child attends a 13th District Kindergarten institution, you may submit an individual skill development report from the kindergarten.

Documents can be submitted voluntarily to info@bgcprogram.hu by March 14, 2025.
