Olivia

Hello! My name is Olivia, and I was born in Chicago, Illinois, and spent my childhood in different parts of the United States.

I began working with children at the age of 16 as a volunteer in a substance abuse rehabilitation program. We provided childcare for the children of parents attending AA and NA meetings and organized community events for families. This experience was eye-opening, inspiring, and at times deeply moving. It sparked my passion for working with children and ultimately led me to pursue a career in psychology.

I have been living in Budapest since 2019, where I completed my BA in Psychology and am currently pursuing my MA in Clinical Psychology. In 2023, I earned my TEFL certification and shortly after began teaching with BGC.

In my classroom, I combine my background in psychology with my work as an English teacher to create a warm, empathetic, and supportive learning environment. I love seeing my students grow in confidence and feel excited to participate in our lessons and discussions.
